Hande Yaşargil

"Executive coaches partner with leaders who are already good at what they do in a effort to make them that much better."

Hande combines her director-level executive experience in human resources, with training as a therapist to deliver coaching services that focus on changing behavior and improving business performance.

Experience

Hande is founder and managing partner of Turkey`s premier executive coaching firm. Originally trained as a psychologist and family therapist, she has ten years experience in the Human Resources profession and a six-year track record coaching senior leaders.

In two rapidly-growing banking companies Hande implemented H.R. systems from the ground up, including establishing job competencies, evaluation systems, training and development systems, corporate culture and leadership development programs.

As H.R. director for the sector’s leading banking company she had responsibility for the 3000-employee bank and its eight subsidiaries. At various times her executive portfolio included not only H.R., but advertising, public relations, security, safety and other operational functions in addition to Human Resources.

In 2000, Hande pursued an independent study program at California’s prestigious Mental Research Institute, applying brief therapy techniques to specific business cases. This and other studies in leadership development gave Hande the inspiration to introduce executive coaching to the Turkish market.

She returned to Turkey as H.R. director and executive committee member at Dogan Burda Rizzoli Media Group, an international joint-venture media company, where she managed a major organizational development initiative.
