Feyzan Sayalı

Feyzan has gained leadership insights and extensive people management skills during her 20 years as a top-level executive in human resources and corporate communications.


Experience

In financial, pharmaceutical, and communications sectors Feyzan’s experience combines a mastery of the core business processes and metrics, with focus on learning and development. Her  career began in the Internal Control Unit of Citibank, where she also took responsibility in establishing relevant organizational structures and operational processes. Later as a project leader at Interbank, she gained extensive knowledge in operational process design and optimization.

Afterwards, Feyzan pursued her career in various leading pharmaceutical and financial companies as top executive in human resources, specializing in managing multi-company HR process design and implemention, with focus on recruitment, performance appraisal, reward and grading/pay management systems, training programs, succession and career planning and employee loyalty initiatives. She has led a number of successful cultural change initiatives, particularly at Dışbank.

Her passion for people, coupled with distinctive skills in personal insight and development make her truly a devoted and resourceful executive coach.

Feyzan continues to serve as Head of Turkcell Academy, comprehensive training and development center serving the Turkcell group of companies now, and pursuing a future vision of becoming a corporate university.

 

Recent Coaching Assignments

Developing a candidate for potential succession to a director role in a Fortune 100 pharmaceutical company.

Coaching the owner of well-known Turkish service company through a reorganization process driven by the necessities of the business. Coaching the director of a very large communication company with the aim to increase his potential and creativity in various new channels of business.

Coaching the partner of a Turkish law firm in developing people management skills and competencies.

Coaching colleagues in a major pharmaceutical company through a reorganization initiative: one H.R. manager was passing some duties to a newer colleague. One needed to develop and leadership vision, the other needed to make a positive adaptation to a new role.

 

Areas of Focus

Change: Work on several corporate culture change initiatives has made Feyzan an advocate of continual and dynamic change in the organization.
She coaches clients in managing change effectively, creating an innovation-friendly environment, and the strategic change agenda.

Leadership Development: Developing and implementing talent and leadership programmes in different company cultures and disciplines and individually following up each talent/leader’s development as a mentor has given Feyzan a deep insight into the attitudes, skills and approaches that help leaders step up to the next level.
